Register for the fide test

The oral exam lasts a maximum of 40 minutes.
The written exam lasts 1 hour, preceded by a 15-minute introduction.
The Oral takes place in the afternoon from 1:15pm, by appointment.
Around 4 weeks after the fide test, you’ll receive your language passport, showing your results, directly by post.
If you took the exam between mid-December and mid-January, it can take up to 6 weeks for your language passport to be issued.
No information on results is given over the phone.
The full test costs CHF 250.
The “Speaking and understanding” part costs CHF 170.
The “Reading and Writing” part costs CHF 120.
